Mission Possible

We are committed to make it possible for all people to worship God and to learn more about His Kingdom.

We are not limited to serving any age, situation or person with any certain type of disability.

Mission Possible is a ministry of Central Christian Church and has been designed for the following purposes:

+ To develop a ministry that will support, encourage, and minister to people with disabilities and their

families

+ To provide resources for people with disabilities within and outside the church membership

+ To provide support for families to become connected to Central and help meet physical, emotional

and spiritual needs

+ To encourage volunteers to partner with these families to create a loving, accepting environment

for worship and service

Members of Central... you may be asking yourselves, "How can I help with Mission Possible?" Our next respite party is on Friday, December 5. Here are a few ways your can help:

* Contact Tanya Barmore to volunteer to be a buddy or help on Friday, December 5 in ANY capacity

help set up at the church on Thursday, December 4 at 6:30 PM

* Loan out your fabulous Christmas decorations to be used Thursday (12/4) and Friday (12/5) only

(especially those big inflatable decorations or fake trees!)

* Donate items for the Secret Santa Shop (anything a parent would like to receive - retail value

$5-10): candles, lotions, cologne, jewelry, mugs, mittens, scarves, socks, candy, snack items, etc.

A box will be in the office workroom for donations.

+ Donate tissue paper or wrapping paper for the gift wrapping station.

+ Pray for fun and fellowship and new friends!

Our Summer Party Was A BLAST!

We got wet! We got soapy! We had FUN! Our last Mission Possible respite part was a HUGE success! More than 32 guests and 60 volunteers enjoyed a fun evening of pizza, crafts, water balloons, shaving cream, a water slide, a bouncy house, outdoor water games and a fun movie. It's hard to beat all that for a great time of summer fun!

We would like to thank all the volunteers who gave their time and efforts to make sure our guests were welcomed and safe all evening. Our next respite party will be Friday, December 5, so spread the word. If you can help us plan for the next party, join us at church on Monday, October 6 at 7:00 PM for our next meeting.
